Stupendous Man

When we arrived home from church last week Ethan was whiny, tired and hungry.
Not a good combination.
(But doesn't he look dashing in his little suit?)
Dinner was nowhere near ready, and the boy needed a pick-me-up, stat.

Enter the t-shirt cape and mask.  This little project, which took less than 5 minutes and required no sewing, totally saved the day.  (I did something similar to this, but left the neck of the shirt intact).

The mask is made from one sleeve of the t-shirt, with eye holes cut at appropriate places.
Done and done.

{That is a serious super-hero face}

Needless to say, the little man was delighted.
He spent the rest of the afternoon flying around the house rescuing people and animals.

Ellie promptly named him Stupendous Man (of Calvin and Hobbes fame).

If you're in need of a quick happy fix for a small person, I highly recommend this!

  1. Such a cute idea. And he's owning it too - love the pics! Thanks for sharing!

    1. Thanks, Lindsay! He loved it so much that he's requested other colors. Apparently he needs a blue cape so he can be a dragon. I'm happy to oblige!
