Mommy-Daughter day

Jason is wonderful and watched the boys yesterday so Ellie and I could have a special day for just the two of us. We went with our good friend Jessica, and her two daughters Olivia and Sophia to the Treehouse museum in Ogden. The roads were so bad that it took us two hours to get there. Luckily we had fantastic hot chocolate to keep us happy in the car (thanks again, Jessica!). We went to lunch and played at the museum. Once again we could have stayed there for twice as long, but we had to come home eventually.

We've been getting absolutely pounded with snow the past few days. Here is a shot of Jason getting ready to go out and shovel. (Lindsay, this is mostly for you...)

He's looking very rugged in this one.

  1. Holy Cow! We have a ton of snow (we are gone right now). Has Jason broken down and bought a snow blower yet?
Looks like you guys had a great Christmas. Lots of fun activities.

  2. Wow. He actually wore the hat. Haha. Merry Christmas!!

  3. Ellie looks so much like you and the kettle is black. I bet you get that a lot! :)
