Oh, friends, I’ve missed you! This was my first significant blogging break ever, and while I’m so glad I took some time away, I’m also so very happy to be back.
This past month has been one of many adventures for us. I joined my parents and siblings and their families for a cross-country roadtrip to visit my dad’s hometown: Spencer, Iowa. My sister and I drove together with our collective six children. Both of our husbands needed to stay home for work, and it was so nice to travel with another adult. I would not have wanted to do that drive by myself!
I also had time to reflect on my goals for this blog, and I’m excited to put some new plans into place.
My interests are shifting and you’ll probably see that reflected in the posts going forward. I’ve been on a journey to rediscover my love for art and for creating art daily and I want to share that with you. I plan to share a monthly peek into my sketchbook and talk more openly about how I find time to create and what things I’m choosing to let go in order to make that happen. I want to share more of our homeschool, outdoorsy lifestyle with you as well as get back to the from-the-heart posts that I love writing so much.
I’d also love to hear from you. What would you like to see more of in this space?
