Baby Animal Days

We recently went on a fieldtrip to the American West Heritage Center.

The kids were in cute fluffy animal paradise.

It's good to give them that opportunity every so often, since Jason and I have not mustered the courage yet to become "fluffy animal people".  Seeing how much these two love fluffy things always makes me rethink my animal aversion (for a moment, at least).

Could I handle a rabbit?  What do you think?

ps--Don't tell Ellie and Ethan I'm thinking about this.  Or Jason.

  1. Rabbits stink. I must remind you though that you had a rabbit. CT? Remember? There's no courage to muster when you've already done something! On the other hand, rabbits can be kept in a hutch outside. You know my opinion. You need to get those cute kids a pet. I'm pretty sure our chinchilla is pregnant...

    1. I do remember CT. But I don't really remember taking care of CT...I assume I did that. Or mom did. (That's what I'm worried about!)

  3. Next time you see my dad, ask him to tell you about his experience with rabbits. It's all I can think of when I think of owning a rabbit now (and I've started down that path before too!). So, I take that back. If you really DO want one, DON'T ask.

    1. Mindy, that makes me even more nervous! How bad was it?
