I ran across several photos I didn't want to forget.  So here they are in no particular order:

The kids helped me make a big batch of noodles for chicken noodle soup a couple of weeks ago.  Ethan did most of the lever-turning on the pasta maker.  I had flashbacks to my own childhood and making noodles with my Dad as I found myself uttering the same phrase he said repeatedly when it was my turn to be the handle-turner: "Other direction, please...".  (For some reason it's more comfortable to turn the handle the wrong way.  Unfortunately that doesn't make any pasta.)

Ellie received this fabric for her birthday in order to sew a new bedspread for her new room.  We finally finished that project a couple of weeks ago.  She did almost all of the sewing while I pinned and pressed.  I did the (very very simple) binding and she tied the quilt.  Needless to say she is delighted with the outcome and it looks darling in her new purple bedroom.

We spent some time on the golf course trail a couple of weekends ago.
( That's Ellie's "old lady" impression above)

Ethan and his Daddy naturally spent a lot of time throwing rocks in the water.

Love those eyelashes and that hair!

 My Ellie is growing up.

One morning Ellie spent hours  putting together a "real life Angry Birds game".  She made birds out of red pompoms, complete with googly eyes and hand-colored orange beaks.  The pigs are green pompoms and the wooden blocks are from the set Santa made for us a few years ago.  These two had a blast knocking the tower down over and over.  No slingshots were involved and the birds were too light to do any damage so it was Ethan's job to knock the tower down after Ellie threw all the birds.

Our cute Ethan loves hats.  He got this one from his cousin Phoenix for Christmas.  Darling!
