We've been busy lately, adjusting to life, homeschooling and working on various projects. Almost immediately after returning from Canada, Jason got to work on building a long-awaited sandbox. It's huge (3' by 20') and the kids love it. Not only have our kids played in it almost every day for the past few weeks, but neighborhood friends have been getting in on the sand fun, too. Which is exactly what we had in mind!

Here's Ellie (aka Laura Ingalls) in her pioneer dress-ups from Grandma and Grandpa Great, making "flour".
You wouldn't believe the amount of sand I wash off this kid every day. I literally had to stick his head under the kitchen faucet this afternoon because every time he turned his head sand would come cascading out of his hair. Needless to say, he loves it out there, too.
